Description

A growing human services organization is seeking an experienced Residential Program Director to oversee multiple residential and community-based programs supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader with experience managing residential operations, developing high-performing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving quality outcomes within IDD services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for multiple residential and community-based programs
  • Supervise and develop Program Managers, Residential Managers, and other leadership staff
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid Waiver, HCBS, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance management, and employee development
  • Monitor program quality, incident management, and service delivery outcomes
  • Manage budgets, resource utilization, payroll oversight, and operational performance
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support person-centered services and positive outcomes
  • Prepare for audits, licensing reviews, and compliance inspections

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience within residential or community-based IDD services
  • Experience managing staff, compliance initiatives, and program operations
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver services, HCBS requirements, and person-centered practices
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between program locations

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • Multi-site operational leadership experience
  • Experience with dual-diagnosis populations
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports and trauma-informed care
  • Experience preparing for regulatory audits and licensing reviews
