Horne Heating and Air Conditioning is growing our plumbing department and hiring an experienced Residential Plumbing Service Technician to serve homeowners throughout the Charlotte area.
This position is for a skilled plumber who is comfortable troubleshooting residential systems, communicating directly with customers, and recommending practical solutions. You'll manage residential service calls with the support of an established office and dispatch team while having opportunities to increase your earnings through commissions and performance incentives.

You'll provide residential plumbing service while helping homeowners understand their systems and available solutions.
Your work will include:
Troubleshoot residential plumbing problems and determine appropriate solutions
Service faucets, fixtures, valves, piping, water lines, and drainage components
Address leaks and other common residential plumbing issues
Install and replace traditional and tankless water heaters
Work with residential water filtration and treatment equipment
Explain findings and available options clearly to homeowners
Complete digital service records and job documentation
Follow applicable plumbing codes and company quality standards
Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and equipment
Deliver professional customer service from arrival through job completion
Occasional support with light HVAC-related work may be requested when needed.
Two or more years of residential plumbing service experience
Strong plumbing troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to independently manage residential service calls
Experience with traditional and tankless water heaters preferred
Water treatment and filtration experience is a plus
Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities
Professional communication and customer service skills
Basic plumbing hand tools
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Availability to participate in the rotating on-call schedule
