Residential Mobility Systems Technician (Lifts & Home Elevators)

Location: Lenexa, KS

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

Compensation: $25/hour with overtime based on workload (earn about $1,000/week at 40 hours) and eligibility for company bonuses and performance incentives

A Day in the Role

By 8:30am, you’re in a company vehicle with a well-planned route from our scheduling team. Your morning might start with a new stair lift installation, where you’ll measure, anchor, and commission a system that immediately improves someone’s day-to-day independence. After lunch, you could be diagnosing a vertical platform lift, completing preventative maintenance on a ceiling lift, or tuning a residential elevator. Between stops, you’ll check in with the office, coordinate with sales if parts are needed, and keep your van organized. You’ll wrap the day by submitting accurate logs and timesheets—leaving each customer with a safe, reliable solution and a smile.

What You’ll Do

• Install, commission, and service stair lifts, vertical platform lifts, ceiling lifts, and residential elevators.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and clean/prepare recycled units when needed.
• Creatively adapt installations to unique homes and customer requirements.
• Load/unload the service van, deliver equipment, and stage job sites professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and follow the planned daily schedule.
• Provide courteous customer interactions; collect payments and complete paperwork.
• Check in with the office after each stop; communicate any route or schedule changes quickly.
• Document work thoroughly and submit timesheets for payroll processing.

What You Bring

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge (low-voltage experience preferred).
• Confidence using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs periodically without physical limitations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
• Comfort with smartphones and computers for scheduling, navigation, and communication.
• Reliable, adaptable, and calm under pressure; able to work independently.
• Experience that stands out: HVAC, automotive, appliance repair, mechanical install/repair, heavy equipment, or telecommunications repair.

Must pass a background check and drug screen.
