What You'll Do:
- Oversee the daily operations of an Adult Foster Care home.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support a team of caregivers.
- Ensure high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all state regulations.
- Assist with resident care, including medication administration and daily support as needed.
- Participate in resident and case manager meetings.
- Maintain accurate electronic and written documentation.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and licensing requirements are consistently followed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and leadership.
- Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience, leading teams of at least four employees.
- At least 4 years of hands-on caregiving experience, preferably in Adult Foster Care, group homes, assisted living, or similar settings.
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent documentation and computer skills.
- Ability to lead independently while maintaining accountability and structure.
- Compassionate, dependable, and solution-oriented leadership style.
Preferred:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred.
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or complex care needs.
- Medication administration experience.
