    Maintenance Supervisor - Giddy Hall Apartments 
    Location: 10951 Netherly Drive, Charlotte, NC 28273
    Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    This is a full-time position with an on-call bonus

    Job Summary
    The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of residential facilities. This position involves ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently, managing maintenance staff, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in facilities management, mechanical knowledge, and various maintenance disciplines.
     
     
    Responsibilities
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Conduct regular inspections of residential facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
    • Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and low voltage equipment.
    • Manage facility maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment and facilities.
    • Provide training and support to staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
    • Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders.
    Skills
    • Excellent leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience in managing teams effectively.
    • Proficient in low voltage systems, electrical work, HVAC, and industrial maintenance.
    • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
    • Familiarity with facilities management practices and principles.
    • Experience in maintenance management, including scheduling and resource allocation.
    • Ability to maintain a safe working environment while adhering to regulatory standards.
