    Freedom House Recovery Center, Inc., is a comprehensive behavioral health provider trusted to serve the Chapel Hill community for over 45 years. We offer a full range of services to adults, children and families managing behavioral health symptoms and/or substance use disorders including inpatient psychiatric stabilization and medically assisted detoxification; outpatient evaluations, therapy and medication management, medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders and adult residential services.

    • Provide program oversite for one or more residential substance abuse halfway house locations.
    • Maintain a 90% bed utilization rate by actively responding to referrals, reviewing documentation in a timely manner, conducting client interviews and approving or denying potential residents.
    • Provide overall supervision and on-site monitoring of staff through daily contact and a minimum of 2 supervisory meetings per month with each staff member.
    • Provide training for new hires and ongoing skills assessment and retraining to ensure all program staff are well versed on job duties, expectations, and agency policies, procedures.
    • Ensure each house follows state service definition and regulatory requirements.
    • Act as point of contact for state surveys and audits to ensure compliance with state regulations.
    • Monitor staffing needs for each house, working with Human Resources to fill vacant positions, make recommendations for promotion, and document staff short comings that may lead to termination.
    • Evaluate staff performance in writing at 90-days post hire and annually thereafter.
    • Monitor written documentation to ensure requirements for billing and authorizations are completed in a timely manner and billed appropriately.
    • Act as liaison for medical/counseling interface by communicating at least weekly with the Residential Director and Treatment Team.
    • Develop, implement and maintain a program in which 75% of the clients are stable and employed by graduation.
    • Interact with staff and clients regularly to trouble shoot, answer questions and ensure the program is being implemented appropriately.
