Position Overview:
Kings View is seeking a Residential Care Manager Lead to support the operation and coordination of residential care services while promoting whole-person wellness and recovery for Members. This role provides leadership and support to Residential Care Managers and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.

The Residential Care Manager Lead assists with care coordination, advocacy, outreach, and residential operations while supporting vulnerable populations including individuals experiencing homelessness, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and involvement with the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Support:
• Lead and support Residential Care Managers
• Provide guidance and promote a positive team environment
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and performance support activities
• Assist with maintaining quality standards and service delivery

Care Coordination & Member Support:
• Conduct outreach, assessments, care management, and care planning
• Coordinate services addressing social determinants of health
• Connect Members to housing, transportation, medical care, and community supports
• Advocate for Members with healthcare providers and service agencies
• Monitor treatment adherence and support recovery goals

Residential Operations:
• Assist with day-to-day residential facility operations
• Help maintain health and safety standards
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care
• Support integration of Enhanced Care Management (ECM) services

Clinical & Community Collaboration:
• Utilize motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and harm-reduction approaches
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations
• Respond appropriately to crisis situations and behavioral health concerns
• Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination

What You’ll Bring:

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid California Driver’s License (Class C)

Required Experience:
• Minimum two (2) years experience working with homeless, SMI, SUD, or justice-involved populations
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Care Manager

Required Skills:
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to conduct assessments and care planning
• Knowledge of behavioral health and housing systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving and crisis intervention abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, or related field
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• CNA or Medical Assistant experience desired
• Experience with trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing
