What You'll Do

• Install, replace, and upgrade residential electrical systems in customers' homes.
• Install and replace electrical panels, service equipment, circuits, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Complete installations involving generators, EV chargers, and other residential electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete installations accurately.
• Ensure all electrical work meets applicable NEC, local code, permit, and company requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Work independently or collaborate with apprentices and other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
• Identify additional electrical needs and educate homeowners on available solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Complete work orders, job photos, and service documentation using mobile technology.
• Follow established safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical training.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of residential electrical experience required, preferably focused on installations.
• Valid Journeyman Electrical License preferred.
• 1–2 years of lead electrician or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable residential electrical codes.
• Experience installing electrical panels, wiring, circuits, fixtures, and residential electrical equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and digital work order systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable driving, background screening, and drug screening requirements.
• Ability to safely work on ladders, in attics and crawlspaces, and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
