The House Manager is a vital part of the residential services that Citywide provides to our SUD clients. As a House Manager you will be responsible for the following duties: YOU ARE REQUIRED TO STAY IN THE HOUSE 24 HOURS. FOUR DAYS ON AND THREE DAYS OFF. This position does not offer benefits.
- Ensure efficient and effective operations
- Dual Diagnosis clients mental/substance abuse
- Medication Management
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the individuals being supported
- Provide supervision and support needed to assure that each residence presents a clean, neat and safe environment, this includes, but is not limit to assuring that the residence will pass safety and environmental inspections.
- Provide live-in supervision to sober living residents
- Monitor client recovery activities
- Supervise clientele in assignment of duties that contributes to upkeep of the living space
- Must have a deep understanding and appreciation for a recovery lifestyle.
- Enforce expectations and guidelines
- Facilitate new resident intake procedures, as well as discharge procedures as needed.
- Facilitate regular house meetings to foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative environment, addressing housekeeping issues, community concerns, and other issues that may come up.
- Efficiently handle complaints, settle disputes, resolving grievances, conflicts, and other mediation.
- Strong observant skills to know when a client is in danger or need help.
