Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Residential Escrow Officer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the end-to-end escrow process for residential property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient closings. Your expertise in real estate law, title processing, and customer service will be instrumental in delivering a seamless experience for clients from contract to closing. Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of residential escrow transactions, including document review and title processing
- Conduct thorough research on property titles to verify ownership and identify potential issues
- Prepare and review escrow instructions, settlement statements, and closing disclosures to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to facilitate timely closings
- Ensure adherence to real estate law and company policies throughout the escrow process
- Manage title processing activities by verifying documents, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with title companies
- Maintain detailed records of all transaction activities and provide updates on escrow status as needed
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Residential Escrow Officer or in a similar law office or real estate environment
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, title processing procedures, and escrow best practices
- Experience conducting research related to property titles and legal documentation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
