As a Residential Electrician here, you won't just be another body on a truck. You'll be trusted to do quality work, communicate clearly, and leave customers feeling confident and taken care of.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day is hands-on and real. You'll diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues, handle repairs, complete panel replacements, service upgrades, and service changes, and make sure the job is done safely and according to code.

You'll walk into someone's home as the professional they can trust. That means respecting their family, pets, and property, keeping them informed, and leaving the space clean when the work is done.

You'll take ownership of your jobs from diagnosis through completion. You'll also have opportunities to help apprentices and junior technicians improve as you grow in your own career.

The Hiring Process

What You'll Earn

You'll earn up to $60 per hour for a full 40-hour week, paid weekly. On top of that, there are performance-based commission opportunities.

Qualified new hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus, on top of the competitive pay, benefits, and commission opportunities offered at Potts Electric.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for residential electricians who take pride in their work, care about code, communicate well, and want to continue growing their skills. Whether you're already highly experienced or still developing in certain areas, we want to understand where you are and where you can go.

• You have at least 1 year of hands-on residential electrical experience
• Huge plus if you can independently diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems
• You've completed panel replacements, service upgrades, and service changes
• You understand the National Electrical Code and take code compliance seriously
• You produce clean, safe, dependable work
• You communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and team members
• You show up consistently and communicate delays or material needs proactively
• You take ownership of each job from diagnosis through completion
• You're comfortable mentoring apprentices and less-experienced technicians, or you're still building those skills yourself
• You take pride in representing Potts Electric inside customers' homes
