Residential Drywall Hanger

Crews report to our Manassas, VA location and travel together in company-provided vans to residential projects throughout Northern Virginia, the West Virginia Panhandle, and the Maryland/DC/Baltimore region. Must be able to lift and carry drywall, work overhead, bend, kneel, reach, climb, use ladders, and perform repetitive physical construction tasks throughout the workday.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | Overtime Available

Con App Inc. is seeking experienced Residential New Construction Drywall Hangers to join our production team. Crews report to our Manassas, VA location and travel together in company-provided vans to residential projects throughout Northern Virginia, the West Virginia Panhandle, and the Maryland/DC/Baltimore region.

Travel time from the Manassas location to assigned jobsites and back is paid.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and install drywall on residential walls and ceilings.
• Properly install drywall around windows, doors, stairwells, closets, and other openings.
• Select and install the appropriate drywall type, size, and thickness.
• Properly position and fasten drywall while minimizing damage and material waste.
• Identify framing or jobsite issues and communicate concerns to the crew lead or supervisor.
• Work safely around electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
• Inspect completed work and correct installation issues.
• Maintain production, quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Work efficiently as part of a production drywall crew.

Qualifications

• Previous residential drywall hanging experience required.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and fasten drywall.
• Experience hanging both walls and ceilings.
• Knowledge of standard drywall installation methods and tools.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to quality and workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and ability to report consistently to the Manassas location.
• Ability to safely lift and carry drywall and perform physically demanding construction work.
