Embark's Stabilization and Assessment program is a residential treatment center dedicated to highly acute adolescents. The program specializes in the stabilization and assessment of adolescent boys ages 12 to 17 and their families. 

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare shift meals for clients and staff, ensuring breakfast, lunch, and dinner are cooked on schedule and meet dietary guidelines.

  • Support food prep and storage by following safe‑handling procedures, labeling items correctly, and rotating inventory to prevent waste.

  • Uphold kitchen safety and sanitation through routine cleaning, equipment checks, and compliance with health standards.

  • Complete next‑day meal prep to ensure ingredients, portions, and components are ready for the following day’s menu.

  • Maintain snack availability by preparing mid‑meal options and keeping all snacks stocked and accessible.

Qualifications:

What we are looking for:

  • Independent, skilled cooks who enjoy having an autonomous work environment.
  • People with a servant heart who enjoy having a purpose behind the food they make.
  • Skill in preparation of a variety of foods.
  • Ability to adapt to special dietary needs of the clients.

Required:

  • Minimum of two years of cooking experience.
  • A current Food Handler's Permit, and a valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of health codes and proper sanitation.
