We’re looking for an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee the build-out of a single-family residential home located in Davis Island, Tampa, FL. This role involves managing schedules, subcontractors, inspections, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle, from shell to certificate of occupancy (CO).
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations
- Maintain project schedules ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
- Supervise subcontractors and trade partners (framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, etc.)
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and code compliance; complete daily inspection logs with photos and context using company software
- Ensure all work complies with Florida building codes
- Coordinate inspections with private providers and City of Tampa building departments
- Identify and communicate issues arising during construction to keep projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a residential Construction Project Manager is required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- PMP certification (a plus, not required)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Florida building codes and inspection process
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors and trade partners
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits
