What your day looks like

You’ll start your morning reviewing scheduled calls around Demopolis, AL, then head out with the parts and tools you need. At one home, you might bring a warm refrigerator back to life; at the next, silence a squeaky dryer or recalibrate an oven. Throughout the day, you’ll walk customers through what you found, the fix you recommend, and how long it will take—always with clear, friendly communication. Between visits, you’ll log notes, parts used, and photos in our system, and wrap up by reviewing tomorrow’s route and brushing up on the latest repair techniques. Safety practices guide every step.

Core responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair major household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers.
• Explain diagnoses, repair options, and timelines to customers to deliver a first-rate service experience.
• Complete preventive maintenance and performance checks to keep equipment running efficiently.
• Document all work performed, parts consumed, and customer interactions with accuracy.
• Stay current on new models, components, and modern repair methods.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures without exception.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in appliance repair is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in appliance service or a closely related trade.
• Strong diagnostic aptitude and practical problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Self-directed and organized; able to manage time and route efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work environment

This is a mobile, field-based position. You’ll work at customer homes and job sites across the Demopolis, AL area, operate within driving distance of the territory, and make same-day trips to appointments.
