Description

A nonprofit services organization in New York City is seeking a Residential Aide to join their team at their Manhattan location.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Evening shift
  • Hours: 4pm to 12am
  • Setting: Transitional housing

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, screen residents and packages, assist with intakes, and support meal and service coordination
  • Maintain a welcoming, safe, and stable environment for residents and visitors
  • Monitor the premises and provide resources and support to clients
  • Conduct hourly rounds inside and outside the facility to support safety and security
  • Document incidents, maintain records, and communicate with supervisory staff as needed
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of related experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and/or mental health or substance use issues

Desired Skills:

  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Narcan experience
  • Crisis Prevention experience
  • Experience with Harm Reduction principles
