PMI is seeking a detail-oriented Resident Support Supervisor to join our Indianapolis office in a. Working alongside our leadership team, you will coordinate day-to-day resident support operations across a three-state portfolio, guiding a small team of resident support staff. Serving as the primary liaison for community members across multiple properties, this role balances hands-on team leadership, resident satisfaction, multi-state rent collection processing, and legal representation in local housing courts.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional phone and digital customer service with strong administrative discipline and awareness of state-specific housing regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for residents across the three-state portfolio, ensuring high satisfaction and timely resolution of questions or concerns.
  • Oversee centralized communication channels, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing resident portal inquiries.
  • Supervise, train, and guide a small team of resident support specialists to ensure consistent quality standards and phone/digital coverage across all locations.
  • Clear, empathetic, and professional phone and written communication skills; With the strong ability to de-escalate challenging phone interactions with composure and diplomacy.
  • Collect and process rent checks, maintain accurate resident payment ledgers across properties, and manage follow-ups on delinquent accounts.
  • Prepare necessary legal documentation and represent the company during housing court appearances, evictions, and mediation hearings within the region.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: High school diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising, leading, or coordinating a team.
  • 6 Months -1 year in residential property management, centralized resident services, or multi-site customer support preferred but not required
  • Direct experience or familiarity with housing court proceedings, eviction filings, and local/state tenant regulations is a plus but not required
Travel: Local travel required in the area for court appearances.
