    Description

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5 years of related experience with gas industry pipeline construction with a minimum of 1 year of compressor station construction/repair experience for compression projects preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Supervisory position with pipeline operating companies or pipeline construction contractor preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 year of college study of Construction Management, Engineering or Accounting preferred.
    • Knowledge of and experience using Company D&C Manual preferred.
    • Excellent organizational, scheduling and communication skills.
    • Must possess good computer skills including proficiency with common desktop software applications including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
    • Excellent organization, communication, and document control skills.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Possess ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and procedures.
    • Experience with mapping skills for maintaining and updating As-Built conditions.
    • Ability to utilize March charts to analyze earned value.
    • Ability to project cash flows and invoicing based on trending from daily reports.
    • Ability to supervise personnel.
    • Must possess dispute resolution skills.
    • Experience and knowledge of applying standard health, safety and environmental requirements on construction projects required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop an understanding of the Company Safety Culture - Commitment to Zero policy and Stop Work Authority responsibilities.
    • Continue to gain knowledge of Company D&C Manual content specific to standards and Craft Inspection responsibilities related to individual's inspection and documentation requirements.
    • Complete all required reports and summaries for the project.
    • Maintain databases as required for the project.
    • Utilize march charts and analyze earned value.
    • Project cash flows and invoicing using trends from daily reports.
    • Attend project related meetings as required.
    • Maintain and update As-Built drawings.
    • Support field and administrative responsibilities of the Chief Inspector.
    • Act as liaison between the Contractor, Chief Inspector and Company Construction Project manager (CPM).
