The Resident Automation Technician I supports our customer on all automation-related topics. This position requires a broad-based electrical and mechanical skillset and a proactive approach to improve the site's performance through trouble-shooting and hands-on repair. Based at our customer sites, the Resident Automation Technician I must represent the TGW image and ensure that a professional relationship with the client is developed and maintained.
This is position is onsite at our customer's location in McDonough, GA
*Shifts Available: 6:30am-7:30pm - Either Mon/Tues/Wed OR Thurs/Fri/Sat
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible. • Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned. • Complete maintenance activities pertaining to the automated equipment onsite, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton-opening systems. • Adhere to the highest quality standards, while always ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. • Optimize automation efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs. Interface with the customer as needed to support operations. • Monitor and maintain the site spare parts inventory, as applicable. • Collaborate with the broader TGW Lifetime Services team to track, document, and communicate issues and lessons learned. • Perform other duties as assigned.
