Resident Assistant Fall 2026 Training

Resident Assistant Fall Training is a required and paid component of your employment.

All Resident Assistants will be compensated for the time they spend in required training sessions leading up to the start of the fall semester.

Fall Training is designed to prepare you for the critical responsibilities of the RA role. Through a combination of workshops, simulations, and team-building activities, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to support students, respond to incidents, and build a strong and inclusive community.

Topics covered include:

• Crisis response and safety protocols
• Conflict resolution and student support strategies
• LSSU policies and documentation expectations
• Community engagement and the SUPERIOR programming model
• Leadership development and team connection

Participation in the full training period is mandatory and ensures you're fully equipped to begin the year confident, informed, and ready to lead.
