Description
Resident Assistant Education:Highschoolgraduatepreferred,aidecertificationpreferred. Experience: Related aide-type duties, geriatric experience preferred. Workingconditions:Officeandresidentialsettingenvironment;residentcarerelated duties; light lifting; routine engagement with residents, staff and visitors.
Responsible for providing the direct personal assistance and supervision needed by residents, including assisting residents when necessary, on an individual basis with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, walking, toileting and attending to any personal needs the residents may be incapable of or unable to attend to for themselves.
Encourage residents to participate in their care.

Answer resident pages in a timely manner.
Must be able to do laundry and general cleaning.
Continual resident monitoring on a 24-hour basis.
Occasional, non-routine housekeeping tasks
Serving residents meals during mealtimes and picking up dishes to be washed in a timely manner.
Responsible for knowing the duties during emergency situations. The evacuation plans are available to all staff at any given time.
