Sees that all outside exit doors are securely shut and locked at midnight; Admits residents students of the building(s) arriving after midnight; Checks identification of entering residents and guests; Records information of entering guests and hosts; Prohibits entry of unescorted non-residents and unidentified persons; Observes and communicates activity in lobby, elevator, and perimeter area; Makes routine rounds as directed by the Residence Hall Directors to ensure building is secure; Collaborates with the Office of Campus Safety and confronts and reports violations as appropriate; Enforces University and residence hall policies; Works cooperatively with staff members and students; Works during Thanksgiving and Spring Breaks, as well as Texas Relays; Documents incidents to the Residence Hall Directors and Campus Safety immediately; Maintains a daily incident log and attends all training sessions as directed. The Residence Hall Lobby Monitor is a staff member in Residence Life who assists the Residence Hall Directors in ensuring that the residence halls are secure.
