Position Summary
The Residence Hall Director is a 12-month, full-time, live-in professional staff member responsible for the overall management, administration, and supervision of a residential community at Livingstone College. This position plays a vital role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging residential environment that supports student success, leadership development, and community standards.
The Residence Hall Director serves as a primary resource for residential students and is responsible for supervising student staff, addressing Level one student conduct concerns, coordinating educational programming, managing administrative operations, and responding to emergencies and crises within the residence hall community.
The Residence Hall Director reports directly to the Dean of Students & Residence Life.
