Pay Range:

$23.19 - $30.49 Hourly

About the Opportunity:

Hours: Shifts will be scheduled within these core hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Occasional weeknight and weekend shifts may be required to support citywide reservations and events.

Please note for internal candidates, the position will be filled based on the selected individuals current status as PT or EPT. For external candidates, this position will be filled as part-time.

Your Impact

  • Serve as the expert on facilities reservation processes and related database systems.

  • Process facilities reservations including determination of fees, according to fee schedules and policies, fees for withdrawal; and fees for facility damage or non-compliance with conditions of use.

  • Assist the public and City staff with availability of classes, the class registration process, and reserving community parks, buildings, and equipment.

  • Provide customer service at the front counter, via the computer and over the phone.

  • Process class registrations, applications, permits, payments, refunds, receipts, changes, and cancellations.

  • Categorize reservation requests for appropriate fee schedules including calculating and determining fees and deposits for facility reservations and troubleshooting bookkeeping errors.

  • Perform daily accounting procedures and support. Facilitate resolution on accounting issues.

  • Interpret and enforce the Citys facility reservations policies and procedures.

  • Perform a variety of general clerical tasks, such as data entry, typing, copying, and filing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience working with the public in an office setting, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities

Best Fit

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, and working knowledge of policies and procedures involved in program registration and facility operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, graphics software, and CivicRec registration software.
