Position Summary
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Neurology''s Killion Center, seeks to hire a Researcher Senior position for the lab of Dr. Rita Cowell. Qualifications
Doctorate degree in a related field OR Master''s degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience OR Bachelor''s degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferences
The ideal candidate will have experience with handling rats, collecting peripheral organ and brain tissue samples, isolating RNA and protein, and performing the listed assays.
This position also requires attention to detail and strong organization skills.
