Conducts independent research in a fast-paced laboratory studying immune responses to Staphylococcus aureus using mouse models and human samples. Key responsibilities include managing a large mouse colony, supporting animal surgeries and experiments, ensuring laboratory compliance, overseeing laboratory purchasing and inventory systems, and coordinating the acquisition of human tissue samples with clinical departments.

Ability to train and direct laboratory staff and students

Ability to coordinate research projects

Preferred Education: Master's degree If any degree/training is preferred, please specify the type:

Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or related scientific field

Preferred Experience:

Five or more years in a laboratory research setting and animal husbandry, particularly in immunology research with knowledge of infectious and/or neuroscience.
