Research Technologist I is available immediately to study the impact of alcohol on the progression of prostate cancer. Our goal is to explore the contribution of ER-stress and abnormally glycosylated serine proteases in metastasis of prostate cancer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the processing and analysis of animal data and working with other research staff to ensure high levels of quality assurance in the data acquisition for various studies, including cellular fractionation and microscopic imaging.

• Prior experience with microscopic imaging.

Hands-on laboratory experience in molecular and cell biology, including cell culture, PCR/qPCR, protein analysis, microscopic imaging, and animal handling. One year of molecular lab experience after graduation. Molecular cloning experience is a plus
