Research Technician III, Immunobiology

• Conduct scientific data collection and analysis for assigned research projects, exercising judgment to select and adjust methods as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and data, and provide data to the PI to support grant submissions, publications, and presentation of results.
• Compile research data and generate statistical analyses, performing preliminary analyses & interpretation to support the research team.
• Determine and acquire specialized parts, materials, equipment, and services required for laboratory operations, and maintain inventory and associated bookkeeping records.
• Train and guide students and staff in the operation of equipment and performance of technical procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry experience is preferred.
• Computational, imaging, and/or mouse handling experience would be helpful.
• Organizational and time management skills are essential to balance both laboratory maintenance duties and experimental research projects.
