GENERAL SUMMARY:

  • Under limited supervision, carries out research projects within guides of regulatory compliance and/or Code of Federal Regulation.
  • Duties include but are not limited to interacting with both internal and external customers at all levels and completing day to day operational tasks for the study.
  • Direct contact with potential and enrolled study participants expected.
  • Analyzes protocol specific requirements and implements measures to ensure stakeholder compliance.
  • May coordinate low-moderate complexity research projects.
  • Provides other support as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Six (6) years of work experience, with a minimum of four (4) years research and/or healthcare experience.
  • OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology or related field.

Preferred skills

  • Pediatric phlebotomy experience - specializing in babies/toddlers ages 6 months to 3 years (IV draws)
  • Extensive experience in working with the general public
  • Familiarity with the communication styles of young mothers (e.g. texting, social media, etc.)

Reliable transportation; will be expected to travel between buildings in the greater metro detroit area
