Position Title: Research Project Coordinator

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, variable hours between 8:00am to 4:30pm

Salary: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour Non Exempt
- Expert scientific knowledge and skill.
- Independent judgement, discretion, initiative and decision making.
- Works with minimal collaboration with Principal Investigator.
- Responsible for the work of a laboratory or research project(s).
- Writes articles for publication in scientific journals or for presentations at conferences.
- Independently performs research activities in a research laboratory and/or on research projects.
- Develops or executes Standard Operating Procedures for large research endeavors.
- Manages research staff daily to ensure high quality work.
- Interfaces with referral sources to maintain participant flow.
- Monitors adherence to the protocol and identifies deviations.
- Reports study activities to the Principal Investigator (PI), DSMB, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) as needed.
- Assures high standards in data management, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
- Complies with safety and security policies and procedures
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions
- Works well with others
May perform additional duties as required
Requirements
GRADUATE or POST GRADUATE DEGREE, AND Preferred -Doctoral degree (PhD or MD) in related field and at least 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
