Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator II RN / Research Nurse (TRI)
Job Description
The Clinical Research Coordinator II RN (CRC-II RN) / Research Nurse plays a key role in planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delivering nursing care to participants enrolled in clinical research studies. Working under limited supervision, this role supports a research institute by managing industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines. The nurse advocates for participants' rights and safety, performs clinical procedures within scope of practice, and collaborates closely with principal investigators, sub-investigators, and the broader research team to collect high-quality data and maintain the integrity of each trial.

Work Environment
This position is based in a hospital setting within a clinical research institute, working directly with patients enrolled in clinical trials. The role involves collaboration with physicians, clinical research nurses, laboratory technicians, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, protocol-driven environment. Clinical spaces are maintained in a clean and prepared condition, with set-up and turnover procedures completed according to established standard operating procedures. The nurse follows Universal Precautions and HIPAA regulations at all times, handling investigational drugs, study medications, and test articles in a secure and confidential manner. Work is primarily conducted in inpatient and outpatient clinical areas where hospital policies, procedures, and research standards guide daily practice.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $98000.00/yr.
