JOB TITLE: Research & Development Engineer

PAY RATE: $45/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Conducts research and development activities involving vacuum systems and gas management.

• Applies research theories, principles, and models when conducting experiments and research activities.

• Summarizes research results and communicates findings to internal and external bodies.

• Leads and directs the work of others in research activities.

• Performs a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Reports to top management.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• 3-5 years of experience in vacuum systems and gas management or a related area.

• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Experience conducting experiments and research activities.

• Experience summarizing research results and communicating findings.

• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.

• Ability to plan and accomplish goals with creativity and latitude.

• May require a graduate degree.
