Job Details:Research Coordinator
Responsibilities
Review and analyze clinical trial protocols, including study design and requirements.
Collect, review, and enter clinical data from medical records into case report forms or electronic databases while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Assist with start-up and implementation of pharmaceutical and medical device clinical trials, including preparation of study documents and participation in start-up meetings.
Screen medical records and internal databases to identify eligible research subjects and coordinate enrollment with the research team.
Retrieve and organize study materials (medical records, imaging, EKGs, procedural reports) for research files and core lab submissions.
Coordinate audits, monitoring visits, and interdepartmental study activities to ensure protocol compliance.
Track subject enrollment, follow-up schedules, timelines, and study documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and research databases.
Support retrospective and prospective observational studies and registries.
Assist with training of research staff and serve as a resource to junior team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in science or related field required; Master’s degree or MD preferred.
Clinical research experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills.
