Research Coordinator (Onsite)

Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Research Coordinator position. The Research Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation of a PCORI-funded research study at a community-based clinic, including the supervision of a site-based research assistant. This role ensures that all study activities are conducted in accordance with approved protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient-centered research principles. The Research Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for site-level research operations and will work closely with study participants, clinic staff, community partners, and the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) study team to support high-quality study execution.

This position is classified as full-time, exempt(salaried).

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is a on-site position.

What we look for in a Research Coordinator:

• Masters degree in counseling or social work
• Current Arkansas license (LPC / LCSW )
• 2-5 years in related field required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience coordinating clinical research, community-based research, or health-related projects;
• Knowledge of human subjects research protections, research ethics, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance requirements;
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and community stakeholders;
• Experience with data collection, study documentation, and electronic data capture systems;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and REDCap or similar research database platforms.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
• The ability to work effectively independently and with team members
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Willingness to complete required research training upon hire and pass proficiency quizzes

Preferred experience:

• Experience with PCORI-funded studies, patient-centered outcomes research, or community-engaged research;
• Experience coordinating multi-site, federally funded, or clinic-based research studies;
• Familiarity with community-based participatory research (CBPR) or stakeholder-engaged research approaches;
• Experience working in a community health center, FQHC, or safety-net clinical setting;
• Clinical research certification such as SOCRA or ACRP, or willingness to obtain certification.
