a top biotechnology organization to identify a
Research Associate III - Assay Development for an opportunity near
Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute assay development experiments and established protocols with minimal supervision.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to experimental/study design using critical thinking and technical expertise.
- Prepare protocols, technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses and present findings to the team.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and Design Control requirements.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, with Biology strongly preferred; Biochemistry or Biotechnology backgrounds may also be considered.
- 4–6 years of relevant post-college laboratory experience in assay development, research, or a related scientific environment.
- Proficiency with laboratory techniques such as pipetting, balances, stir plates, and related wet-lab methods.
Preferred:- IHC (Immunohistochemistry) experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with SAFe/Agile planning processes and reporting frameworks is preferred.

- Position Type: 12-month contract (potential to extend)
- Pay range approved: $30/hr - $34/hr (depending on experience)
