General Summary of Position
Under direct or close supervision provides technical lab and clinical research assistance to the research team to facilitate a variety of research activities including pre-clinical work study development and protocol management literature review participant screening and recruitment data collection analysis and dissemination and database management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in or leads preclinical projects for the research team.
- Provides technical support such as cell isolation for the lab and biorepository collection/banking team.
- Performs qualitative and/or quantitative research data collection as requested.
- Assists with data management and analysis as needed.
- Communicates effectively with research investigators staff and collaborators.
- Assists with the organization and maintenance of research records as needed.
- Assists with the recruitment selection scheduling and consenting of research participants as required.
- Prepares timely reports and presentations of project data and progress as required.
Minimal Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a health science or other related field preferred. Associate's degree in a health or science related field or equivalent education/experience required
Experience
- Undergraduate and/or work experiences that demonstrate aptitude for research facilitation required
- Previous work in a research setting preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Must be flexible highly motivated dedicated and capable of working both independently and on various team projects in a diverse setting.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $18.70 - USD $32.72 /Hr.
