Research Assistant
The Department of Grain Science and Industry is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Research Assistant to support research in the Carbohydrate Polymers lab. This position involves assisting with moving lab items and setting up the lab, conducting research and analytical tests, compiling and analyzing data, and assisting in the preparation of reports. The assistant will work under the supervision of the PI and contribute to projects focused on starch analysis, including starch content, amylose content, molecular structure of amylose and amylopectin, gelatinization, retrogradation and pasting properties, and other lab duties as assigned by the PI.
