Position Overview: Based in our North Dallas office, the IRMI intern will collaborate with several research analysts on various special research and writing projects. This role provides extensive exposure to multiple lines of insurance and insurance financing options (e.g., captives, contractual risk transfer, self-insurance). The intern's contributions will enhance the quality of IRMI publications and may lead to becoming a published author. This is an excellent opportunity for those planning to pursue a career in risk management or insurance after graduation.

Key Details:

Duration: Approximately 10 weeks
Work Schedule: Full-time, 7.5 hours daily, Monday to Friday
Salary: $23 per hour
Telework: Allowed on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
On-site Work: Required at IRMI's office (with free covered parking) on Wednesday and Thursday

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be an undergraduate majoring in risk management, insurance, or actuarial science
Graduation date must not be earlier than August 2027
