    Position Information

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive and process biological samples for research projects.
    • Perform molecular laboratory procedures, including DNA extraction, qPCR assays, and data collection.
    • Maintain accurate laboratory records and support timely completion of project objectives.
    • Maintain laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
    • Support laboratory organization, equipment coordination, and compliance with institutional environmental health and safety requirements.
    • Provide general research and laboratory support as needed.
    • Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's in Entomology or a related biological science.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's in Entomology or a related biological science.
    • Molecular bench work experience, handling samples for molecular processing, applied biotechnology, biochemistry analysis.

    Required Skills, Knowledge or Abilities:

    • Nucleic acid extraction, PCR and post-PCR molecular analysis.
