Purpose of the job
To assist with the conduct of study trials preparing all necessary materials for day to day functions facilitating study enrollment and supporting the laboratory.
Main activities
? Works with study coordinators to ensure participant enrollment
? Provides administrative and clinical support including taking vital signs and assisting with participant visits as needed
? Perform recruitment calls and interact with potential participants to determine study eligibility
? Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of assigned protocols
? Prepares necessary material for day to day functions
? Completes study related documents
? Adhere to Good Clinical Practices
? Able to support the laboratory specifically Collect routine blood and urine specimens Collect timed specimens utilizing IVs at times Process and ship patient samples to various reference laboratories Order and process incoming supplies Adhere to CDC recommendations and OSHA requirements
