Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for Research Administrator for a leading nonprofit research organization. This is a hybrid, full-time direct-hire opportunity requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Research Administrator will provide high-level administrative support within the Research Department, helping ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities, communicating with diverse stakeholders, and supporting a collaborative team. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, meeting deadlines, and representing the Research Department through polished written and verbal communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to the Research Department, including coordinating tasks, communications, schedules, and departmental activities.
Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, presentations, spreadsheets, records, and other administrative materials.
Communicate professionally on behalf of the Research Department through written correspondence, phone calls, and other channels.
Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and requests while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Support meetings, events, projects, and other departmental initiatives as needed.
Collaborate with team members while independently completing assignments and proactively identifying opportunities to provide support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Administrative experience with a demonstrated track record of success; experience supporting research organizations is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organization, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with CRM or project management tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently, learn new software and processes, ask thoughtful questions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$73,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a hybrid schedule requiring 2-3 days in the office. Additional benefits and employment details will be provided during the interview process.
