The Research Administrator 2 provides comprehensive post-award financial and administrative support for a portfolio of research funds within the Department of Urology. Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for contracts and grants, ensuring adherence to University and sponsor guidelines. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, monitoring expenditures, coordinating with principal investigators, and supporting closeout and reporting activities. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic research environment.
Hourly salary range: 35.23- 53.67

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
High School Diploma (Required)
3+ years of research administration experience. (Required)
3+ years of financial, clerical, or administrative experience. (Required)
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate information and establish cooperative working relationships. (Required)
Ability to work as a member of a team. (Required)
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with various stakeholders. (Required)
Ability to set priorities and complete ongoing tasks with competing deadlines. (Required)
Close attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluctuating workload environment. (Required)
Strong organizational skills to effectively create and maintain administrative and financial files. (Preferred)
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software, especially Excel. (Required)
