Job Title: Repossession Manager

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45245 (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $68,000-$75,000 per year

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Description

  • Serve as the designated Qualifying Agent/Manager for state licensing applications (e.g., Louisiana, California, Pennsylvania, and other states).

  • Maintain overall regulatory accountability for compliance with repossession-related licensing requirements.

  • Oversee compliance activities related to:

  • Collateral location and skip tracing

  • Delinquency resolution and borrower communications

  • Forwarding assignments to licensed repossession agencies

  • Ensure all operations remain within applicable licensing requirements and avoid activities that could create direct repossession licensing exposure.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulators regarding licensing, compliance, and consumer complaint matters.

  • Support:

  • Multi-state license applications, renewals, and regulatory filings

  • Regulatory audits and inquiries

  • Background checks and disclosure submissions

  • Review operational processes, scripts, and communications to ensure they do not:

  • Imply repossession authority

  • Instruct borrowers to surrender collateral

  • Misclassify the organization as a repossession operator

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in repossession, asset recovery, regulatory compliance, licensing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of state repossession licensing requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with multi-state licensing processes and regulatory filings is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of borrower communications, skip tracing, and collateral recovery operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
