Description & Requirements

The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting needs of the Firm's internal and external clients to enable well-informed decision making. The role holder will analyse data, develop reports and dashboards, and support reporting solutions using business intelligence and analytics tools, including Power BI, while supporting ongoing improvements to reporting processes and capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Interpret quantitative and qualitative data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and "clean" data, and review trends of bad data to identify problems with data capture, design or architecture
• Develop reports and dashboards, including Power BI reports and dashboards where required, from multiple sources of data and provide analytical insights to stakeholders
• Continually seek new and innovative ways to provide value-added financial and non-financial data to senior leadership and colleagues around the Firm
• Provide data to assist with various Firm initiatives and processes including FP&A activities, Partner compensation, profitability, diversity and inclusion and other areas of high priority
• Deliver services to the end users within agreed SLAs

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree focusing on Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics or or other related areas
• 2 years post-qualification experience in corporate financial management, financial reporting or professional services
• Hands-on experience of using SAP Business Objects Enterprise Tools, Tableau, Power BI and other analytics/visualization tools
• Expert-level skills in Excel
• Hands-on experience of native SAP reporting capabilities
• Above average analytical and quantitative skills
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage to deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills
• Proactive and motivated approach
