Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Replenishment Supervisor to join their client's team in Durham, North Carolina. This role involves overseeing the replenishment processes and ensuring productivity and efficiency within the department. The Replenishment Supervisor will provide leadership and guidance to the staff while maintaining the standards and procedures necessary for smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for replenishment put-away to promote productivity of night operations.
  • Provide direction, training, development, and oversight to the department staff.
  • Provide performance feedback and perform reviews.
  • Ensure department staff follow SOPs for replenishment processes and procedures.
  • Develop and update SOPs for replenishment job functions.
  • Ensure cross-training within the department in the event of workforce constraints.
  • Ensure that department team members who operate motorized equipment are properly trained and licensed.
  • Communicate with team members to keep them informed of events/issues/changes within the organization.
  • Assist operations management with special projects.
  • Opening and closing of building as scheduled.
  • Crosstrain with other operations supervisors to ensure coverage during absences.

Specific Work Tasks:

  • Ensure all day-to-day replenishment tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review, investigate, and correct discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure bulk area is replenished as needed.
  • Ensure department staff checks expiration dates on items & rotates stock.
  • Find solutions for cause of errors.
  • Identify and drive cycle count efficiencies.
  • Identify trends and make suggestions for process improvements.
  • Write and maintain accurate written procedures for processes.
  • Monitor daily workload and adjust personnel accordingly.
  • Train and crosstrain replenishment associates within department.
  • Maintain team member's performance/attendance documentation.
  • Conduct performance reviews and, if necessary, implement performance improvement plans.
  • Recommendations to HR on decisions for hiring, firing, and promoting team associates.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and orderly.
  • Assist other departments including night operations as needed.

Additional Details

This is a supervisor position with a salary range from $55,000 to $60,000 per year. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to manage a team effectively.
