Balance Staffing is hiring Repair Test Technicians for a full-time, long-term opportunity with Wiwynn in East El Paso, near Socorro, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in computer hardware, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic components. Day shift pays $21.50 per hour, and night shift pays $25.00 per hour. Join a technology manufacturing team that builds servers and data center equipment.
Job Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, test, and repair server hardware and electronic components.
• Identify hardware failures and determine the cause of technical issues.
• Replace defective components and perform necessary repairs.
• Run hardware and system tests to verify equipment functionality.
• Perform firmware updates and network connectivity testing as needed.
• Use Linux and basic Python scripts to support testing and troubleshooting.
• Document test results, repair activities, and component failures.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and production guidelines.
• Work scheduled shifts and overtime as required.
Qualifications
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting, electronics repair, or equipment testing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Linux is a plus.
• Familiarity with servers, computer components, networking, or hardware diagnostics is preferred.
• Basic Python knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to identify technical issues, follow instructions, and document results.
• Must be able to work full-time in East El Paso, near Socorro.
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must meet the employer's background check and drug screening requirements.
