Repair Technician
Location: Omaha, NE
Pay: $19/hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Are you mechanically inclined, tech-savvy and passionate about solving problems? We re looking for a dependable Repair Technician to join a growing team supporting businesses throughout the Omaha area. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently and providing excellent customer service while repairing and maintaining office equipment.
As a Repair Technician, you ll be responsible for servicing printers, copiers, scanners and related office equipment for a variety of clients. If you enjoy working in the field, diagnosing issues and helping customers keep their operations running smoothly, this could be a great fit for you.
What You ll Do
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain printers, copiers, scanners and related equipment
Respond to service calls and complete repairs within assigned response times
Replace components and perform full-scale equipment repairs
Update and close service tickets with accurate and detailed information
Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed
Record meter readings, parts usage and service details
Build positive relationships with customers through professional communication and service
Identify customer needs and support business growth opportunities
Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time
What We re Looking For
Previous office equipment repair or maintenance experience preferred
Experience with HP, Xerox or Lexmark equipment is a plus
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to troubleshoot independently and solve technical problems
Basic computer skills required
Basic networking knowledge highly preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
High school diploma or GED required
Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Computer Technology or related field preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Valid driver s license required
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
