Repair Technician
Pay: $17.75 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to identify problems and make repairs as needed
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and reach throughout the workday
- Previous manufacturing, fiberglass repair, automotive body repair, painting, or finishing experience is helpful but not required
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
Repair Technician ResponsibilitiesAs a Repair Technician, you will inspect, repair, and finish fiberglass components to meet quality standards. Duties may include:
- Inspecting hulls, decks, and completed products for defects or damage
- Wiping, buffing, and preparing surfaces for repair
- Sanding, polishing, and finishing repaired areas
- Removing fiberglass defects using hand and power tools
- Mixing and applying gel coat, catalyst, and other repair materials
- Correcting paint defects and touch-up areas
- Repairing cosmetic and structural imperfections
- Repairing damage that occurs during manufacturing or assembly
- Performing final inspections and detail work before products leave production
- Following all safety and quality procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Performing other duties as assigned
Work EnvironmentThis Repair Technician position works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to fiberglass dust, chemicals, solvents, power tools, and varying temperatures.
