Job Summary: The Repair Technician is responsible for in-house repairs on guitars that range from basic to expert level repairs. The role is a blend of craftsmanship and quality that focuses on industry standards. Previous guitar repair experience is required.
Essential Functions:
Learn and participate in all aspects of repair.
Repair work includes: finishing, electronics, fretwork.
Candidates will be responsible for knowledge of completely dismantling a guitar to its basic components and rebuilding the guitar.
Provide repair work to other departments as necessary.
Learn and execute standard operating procedures.
95% pass rate based on production requirements.
Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.)
Maintains product flow at appropriate rate.
Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety)
Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules.
Obligation to submit safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code.
Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improve our safety processes.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
