    Description

    We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an REO Marketing Manager opportunity with a leading financial services organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize independent judgment and execute strategic marketing initiatives that maximize asset recovery within a dynamic environment.

    The REO Marketing Manager is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

    Your specific duties will include:

    • End-to-End Asset Management: Oversee the marketing and disposition of assigned REO properties from initial assignment through closing, developing individualized strategies based on property condition and market data.
    • Pricing & Negotiations: Review appraisals, BPOs, and repair bids to establish initial list prices and repair strategies. Exercise independent judgment to evaluate and negotiate purchase offers, concessions, and contract terms.
    • Vendor Management: Direct and evaluate third-party partners—including listing brokers, property preservation vendors, and closing agents—ensuring they meet established SLAs and performance standards.
    • Cross-Functional Coordination: Proactively identify and resolve title, occupancy, compliance, and closing delays by collaborating with eviction, legal, valuation, and closing teams.
    • Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all listing materials, property disclosures, and disposition activities comply with investor, insurer, regulatory, and company guidelines.
    • Reporting & Analytics: Analyze portfolio trends, monitor market exposure and days on market (DOM), and prepare asset-level reports and process-improvement recommendations for leadership.

    Required qualifications for the position include:

    • Significant experience in REO asset management, default servicing, or residential real estate disposition, with a deep understanding of the complete REO lifecycle.
    • Proven ability to analyze valuations (BPOs, appraisals), repair estimates, and local market data to execute property-specific pricing and marketing strategies.
    • Experience actively managing listing brokers, contractors, and other third-party vendors.
    • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment on complex, high-value assets.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage a high-volume portfolio and collaborate effectively with executive leadership and external partners.

    Preferred qualifications for the position include:

    • Background working for a mortgage servicer, GSE, or institutional property owner, with strong knowledge of investor and regulatory requirements.
    • Hands-on experience managing occupied assets, evictions, title curative matters, and complex property repairs.
    • Active real estate license or professional REO designation.
    • Familiarity with REO asset management platforms, MLS systems, and valuation tools.
